Congratulations to Kevin Bauerle, MD, PhD on his selection by the Endocrine Society to receive the prestigious 2016 Endocrine Scholars Award supported by Lilly USA, LLC. The award assists future endocrinologists in conducting endocrine research focusing on bone disorders and diabetes mellitus.
Dr. Bauerle received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Louisiana State University where he had his first exposure to basic science research. He completed his first two years of internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. From there, he transitioned to Washington University in St. Louis as part of the ABIM research pathway. Dr. Bauerle joined the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Lipid Research in July 2014 as a clinical fellow.
