Biography

Dr. Silverstein graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a BA in French in 1997. She received her MD from Drexel University School of Medicine in 2004, and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh in the women’s health track (2004-2007). Dr. Silverstein completed her fellowship in endocrinology at Washington University in 2009 and became a faculty member in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, & Lipid Research at Washington University in 2010. Dr. Silverstein is Medical Director of the Pituitary Center and has expertise in the care of patients with Cushing’s disease, acromegaly, prolactinomas, non-functioning pituitary adenomas, hypopituitarism and other pituitary and neuro-endocrinology related diseases. She is also director of the Clinical Trials Unit and runs clinical trials for patients with pituitary disorders, diabetes and other endocrine disorders.

Medical management of patients with acromegaly, Cushing’s disease and other neuro-endocrinology related diseases
